Job Description
About the Role 
Working Pattern: Shifts are 7am - 3pm and occasional weekend work may be required as overtime.
Responsibilities- Cleaning and sanitising all preparation and storage areas, kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens, and grills.
- Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment and ensuring that all cookware, utensils, and cutlery are clean and ready for service.
- Receiving, unpacking all deliveries and checking the delivery against what has been ordered and highlighting any discrepancies to the site manager.
- Ensuring that the food and supply storage areas are organised.
- Being responsible for removing the rubbish and emptying of bins, waste, and recycling in the kitchen.
- Assisting with food preparation when needed.
- Commercial kitchen experience is highly valued but not essential.
- Basic Catering and Hospitality certificate such as Food Handling or equivalent is desired but not essential; we can provide this for you.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Can stand for extended periods, which is often necessary due to the physical nature of the job.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- City & Guilds certification, BTEC, or NVQ at a basic level required.
- Completing a food hygiene course at Level 2 would be desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Good time management and organisational abilities.
