Kitchen Porter

Berkeley Scott is seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter for a temporary position in Central London. This role requires a minimum of one year's UK experience and offers holiday pay, with hourly rates between £12.71 and £14.80 depending on background.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day to day operations of a busy kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout all kitchen areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and manage recycling in line with procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Level 2 Food Safety Certification.
• Understanding of food allergens and safe food handling practices.
• A keen eye for detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
