Kitchen Porter

About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter you will be an essential member of the back of house team at De Vere Wokefield Estate. Your duties will include maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. You will provide basic support to the chefs, including food preparation, although this is not a core requirement of the position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Work a mixture of early, late and weekend shifts on a rota basis (full time and part time positions available).

Qualifications

• A flexible can do attitude and pride in work.
• Cleaning experience or experience in a similarly physical role.
• Punctuality and good attendance record.
• The ability to share De Vere's values, fostering relationships, having a genuine approach and paying attention to detail.
