We are recruiting on behalf of a local school in Norwich for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support their busy catering team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on work and wants to be part of a team providing meals in an educational environment.

The Role:

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and support for the wider catering team.

Key Duties:

• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean and tidy
• Assisting with basic food prep tasks when required
• Supporting the team with deliveries and stock organisation
• Following all health & safety and hygiene procedures

What We're Looking For:

• A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) is required due to working in a school
• Reliability and good timekeeping
