Job Description
We are searching for an experienced and talented Kitchen Porter to join the Arabica team!

- Ensure all opening, handover and closing duties are completed as per Arabica's Standards
- Make sure that all the pots, pans and dishes are cleaned regularly throughout service and stored correctly, in the right place, and in a neat order
- Ensure the dishwasher is working correctly, at the required temperature, with correct levels of detergent and that the filters and inside are kept clean
- Assist in preparation of the food as requested
- Provide basic support to the kitchen team
- Ensure the daily, weekly and monthly kitchen cleaning duties are carried out thoroughly
- Support your work colleagues and ensure that a team spirit is fostered at all times
- Organize, record and control the temperatures of all refrigerated units
- Any other reasonable task as requested by the head chef and sous-chefs
- Work cleanly, hygienically and safely at all times
- Report any food hygiene/ H&S issues or incidents to the Manager on duty straight away
- Ensure that all areas within the kitchen are maintained to the agreed standards of cleanliness and hygiene
