Kitchen Assistant at Maki & Ramen

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.00 (typical earnings up to £15 with tips)

Hours: 45-50 per week (hours are negotiable)

Our Metrocentre location is looking for an experienced and adaptable Kitchen Assistant to lead the launch and shape the future of this exciting new site. Key responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients including vegetables, meats, broths, sauces, and ramen toppings.
• Assist with grilling and ramen station during service.
• Follow recipes and portion standards to maintain quality and consistency.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and hygienic.
• Support stock checks, deliveries, and kitchen opening/closing duties.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic food prep/knife skills and interest in Japanese cuisine.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to food hygiene standards.
