Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and organised individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, ensuring understanding of dietary requirements and allergens.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols.
• Work as a team player, while able to work alone and manage your time effectively.
• Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential.
• Prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH.
• Availability to work part time: 16 hours per week (including alternative weekends) or 24 hours per week (including alternative weekends).

About You

You don't need prior care experience; a previous role in a different catering environment is welcome. You will be caring, self motivated and enthusiastic, with empathy for others' needs.
