Job Summary 
Jordan Bank School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Kindergarten Teacher. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and is committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. The successful candidate will engage young learners, promote their social, emotional, and intellectual development, and work collaboratively with parents and staff to ensure each child's success.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Assess and monitor each child's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open lines of communication.
- Organize and participate in classroom activities, events, and field trips that enhance the educational experience.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support school-wide initiatives and programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Manage classroom behavior and implement strategies to promote positive social interactions among students.
- Ensure a clean and organized classroom environment, including the maintenance of educational materials and resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education.
- Valid PA Teaching Certification (pk-4, K-6)
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and families.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes and classroom management.
- Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the classroom.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
