Monarch Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well established Primary School in Leicester to appoint a dedicated Year 5 or Year 6 Teacher. This is a full time, long term position commencing as soon as possible.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed practitioner who can deliver high-quality teaching and contribute positively to the school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that support pupils in making strong progress in upper Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the Year 5/6 curriculum.
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the KS2 team and wider school staff.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is an essential requirement for the role.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5 or Year 6.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to commit to a full time, long term post.
