Key Stage 2 Teacher

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join a Primary School in Southam from September 2026. This position is a part time 3 days a week fixed term covering maternity leave.

The school is seeking a confident and capable Primary Teacher who can plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. This position would suit an experienced teacher with strong behaviour management skills and a thorough understanding of Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities

• Taking full responsibility for a class, including lesson planning, preparation, marking, and assessment
• Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that follow the National Curriculum
• Supporting pupils' academic progress as well as their social development
• Working closely with the Key Stage 2 team and the wider school staff
• Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to the school's assessment and tracking processes

Required Skills and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Confident teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Strong understanding of SEND and diversity
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• £168.80/day rate to £232.57/day rate which equates to £32,916 per annum to £45,351 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
