Here at Academics, we are currently working with this fantastic Primary school in the borough of Lambeth to recruit a Year 1 Class teacher to join the school this April and take over from a very experienced teacher who is retiring this year.

The role can be offered as a temporary contract for Summer term or as permanent contract from April 2026 depending on the successful Key Stage 1 teacher's requirements and offers the opportunity to join a school where children truly love coming to school. Children work to and meet an ambitious curriculum where they are challenged and supported to achieve high standards. Currently there is opportunity to work in either Year 1 or Year 2 depending on your preference. Behaviour is excellent in both classes and classes are supported well with HLTA who provide interventions and 121 support where needed.
