Monarch Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher with UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a Good OFSTED rated primary school in Oxford. This is a full time position beginning in March 2026, offering a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and nurturing school community.
As the newly appointed KS1 Teacher, you will work closely with experienced staff and senior leaders who are committed to delivering high quality teaching and learning across the early years of primary education.
Pay RateDaily rates start at £145, rising to £232.57 for more experienced teachers with UK recognised QTS.
QTS is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
- Creating a warm, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively using school policies and positive strategies
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants to support learning and individual pupil needs
- Contributing to whole school planning, meetings, and collaborative practice
- UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Availability for a full time, long term role
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school setting (or strong understanding of KS1 curriculum expectations)
