Junior/Mid Data Analyst

Qualifications

• BsC in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance (or other quantitative discipline)
• (Desirable) Basic R or Python proficiency
• Solid understanding of databases and structured data
• (Desirable) Exposure to version control (git)
• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets (Google sheets and/or Microsoft Excel)
• (Desirable) Experience working with non-data teams
• Data analysis skills (cleaning, joining, aggregation, visualisation)
• (Desirable) Experience with BI/reporting tools (Looker, Looker Studio, Lightdash, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Quicksight etc)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• (Desirable) Experience creating presentations to communicate analytical findings
• Willingness to develop SQL knowledge and pick up a programming language for data analysis (R or Python)
• Exceptional attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that serve internal stakeholders, external partners and customers
• Maintain and build upon our existing data models in our BI tool (Lightdash) to allow for self-service analytics throughout the organisation
• Analyse our core datasets to answer stakeholder questions, identify areas for product growth/improvement, and better our understanding of the platform
• Clearly communicate insights and findings from analysis to product managers and business leads
