We're looking for a motivated and curious individual to join our team as a Software Development Apprentice, where you'll help build smart, efficient software solutions that empower businesses to thrive.
As part of our development team, you'll gain hands-on experience in modern software practices - from writing clean, efficient code to testing and deploying applications. You'll contribute to real-world projects supporting our clients' digital transformation, helping them implement the technologies they need to stay competitive.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Manage and support the development of software solutions, ensuring systems run smoothly.
- Assist in maintaining and upgrading existing software systems.
- Work on various software projects, from development to troubleshooting, following the software lifecycle.
- Provide end-user training and support, including documentation.
- Support the team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to work independently.
- GCSE English grade 4/C and Maths grade 6/C or equivalent.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £18,000 per annum.
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
- 24 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays.
- Company Workplace Pension Scheme (Nest) with 5% employer contribution and minimum 3% employee contribution (Salary Sacrifice).
- Quarterly bonus scheme after successful probation.
