About the RoleWe are looking for a technically strong, detail-oriented Junior Data & Software Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who wants to work across data engineering, software development, and system reliability in a fast-moving environment where you will take ownership of your own projects.
Key Responsibilities- Software Development: Contribute to internal tools and platforms to improve reliability, data visibility, and operational workflows.
- Uptime & Monitoring Systems: Manage development of features and integrations that enhance fault detection, alerting, and automated diagnostics across the estate.
- Data Engineering & Analysis: Assist in building and maintaining pipelines to collect, clean, and analyze data from our network. Support insights into uptime, performance, and user behavior alongside our dedicated data team.
- Analytical mindset: You're data-driven, curious, and love solving problems.
- Good knowledge of modern practices in data and software engineering.
- ML/AI curiosity and interest.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
- Nice to have: Experience with Azure cloud services and knowledge of OCPP/OCPI protocols.
