Job Description
Job Summary 
C21 is an Acute Stroke Ward providing specialist care for patients who have experienced a stroke. The ward has 39 beds in total, including 12 hyper acute stroke beds and 27 acute stroke beds. The multidisciplinary team delivers high quality acute care, early rehabilitation, and ongoing support to help patients recover and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities- Be professionally accountable and maintain the standards of professional practice set by the appropriate regulatory body applicable to your profession or role.
- Utilise supervision of clinical practice, clinical audit, research, and teaching in a supervisory role to set, monitor, and improve standards of care while ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Ensure safe and effective clinical practice.
- Enhance the patient's experience.
- Manage and develop the performance of the team.
- Ensure effective contribution to the delivery of the organisation's objectives.
- Deputise for the ward manager or Matron as required.
