Job Description
Junior Sales Executive - Car Sales

Our client is expanding their sales team and is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Executive to join their busy dealership. This role is ideally suited to someone at the early stages of their car sales career (1-3 years' experience), or a candidate looking to move into the motor industry who brings a strong sales background from another sector and a genuine interest in vehicles.

You will work closely with both new and existing customers, helping them find the right vehicle solution while delivering a positive, professional, and engaging buying experience. Full training, ongoing support, and clear earning potential are provided, making this an excellent opportunity to build a long term career in motor sales.

Key Attributes
  • Previous sales experience (ideally within car sales, or another customer facing sales environment)
  • Strong interest in the motor industry, with a basic technical understanding of vehicles
  • Target driven with a willingness to learn and develop sales skills
  • Friendly, confident communicator with a customer focused approach
  • Ability to build rapport and develop long term customer relationships
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and well organised
  • Comfortable engaging with customers in person, over the phone, and via digital channels
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good IT and CRM skills, or openness to learning dealership systems
Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in selecting the most suitable vehicle based on their needs, budget, and preferences
  • Follow a structured sales process to maximise customer satisfaction and dealership performance
  • Handle customer enquiries through phone calls, emails, social media, and showroom walk ins
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles, explaining features, specifications, and benefits
  • Support customers throughout the full sales journey, from initial enquiry to vehicle delivery
  • Maintain high showroom and vehicle presentation standardsLiaise with aftersales and finance teams to ensure a smooth customer handover
  • Keep accurate customer records and update CRM systems
  • Take part in sales events, promotions, and marketing activities
  • Engage in ongoing training to build strong product knowledge and sales expertise
