Junior Risk Analyst

For Olam Agri, we are looking for a Junior Risk Analyst to join their team in Rotterdam. The Junior Risk Analyst plays a key role as the regional point of contact for finance-related processes and projects. You will contribute directly to the company's strategic growth objectives. With a solid understanding of the company's commercial activities and financial performance, you act as a trusted advisor to traders, business units, and regional management.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze daily and monthly trading performance and P&L of traders and products
• Provide insights and recommendations to support tactical and strategic decision-making
• Monitor and manage risk and credit limits for business partners
• Reconcile, review, and analyze positions based on the company's risk reports
• Consolidate daily position reports, summarizing all open trading positions across products and regions
• Coordinate with global teams on group requirements, management reporting, and accounting data
• Support IT enhancements and implementation of internal controls
• Provide relevant information to traders as needed
• Ensure all trading positions are accurately captured in the company's Order Processing System (OPS)

Job Requirements

You are analytically strong and detail-oriented, with a structured way of working and a sharp eye for accuracy. In a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you work independently, take initiative, and bring clarity and ownership to your responsibilities, while also being a reliable and collaborative team member.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international (commodity trading) environment
• Full professional proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Teams
• Experience with SAP is a plus
