About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team and support the commercial management of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level candidate looking to develop their career within the construction industry and gain valuable experience across a range of projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of project costs and estimates.

Support the preparation and submission of tender documentation.

Assist with subcontractor and supplier procurement.

Monitor project costs and budgets.

Assist with valuations, variations and payment applications.

Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.

Work closely with the Project and Commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.

Some relevant experience within the construction industry is desirable.

Good understanding of construction processes and commercial principles.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
