At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Junior Project Manager to join our client's growing team-based in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate or a person looking to progress in their career within the construction industry in an innovative and growing organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist senior project managers in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Monitor project schedules and update task progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate communication between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Support onsite project inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Prepare project documentation, including reports, contracts, and meeting minutes.
  • Track project budgets and expenses to assist in financial control and reporting.
  • Help identify and resolve issues or delays that may impact project timelines or quality.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning and problem-solving.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
  • A strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within the construction project management field.
  • Full clean Irish driving licence
