Junior Procurement Specialist - Development-Focused Opportunity - General Indirects - Central London - £35,000 - £45,000 + package

An internationally recognised professional services firm is looking for a high-potential Junior Procurement Specialist to join its Procurement & Supplier Management team. This is a strategic development hire - the first role in a newly established career pipeline designed to take you from Junior through to Category Manager and beyond over the next 2 years.

This is not a typical junior role. We're seeking someone ambitious, intellectually curious, and commercially savvy. You'll be given meaningful responsibilities from day one - supporting key projects like onboarding managed service providers, delivering software rollouts, managing supplier contracts, and helping Category Managers fulfil their strategic roles.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the delivery of procurement projects across a range of categories.
  • Managing supplier relationships and contributing to performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Taking ownership of procurement admin, documentation, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Learning to apply procurement theory to real-world commercial decisions.
  • Building relationships across legal, IT, finance, and other stakeholder teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-2+ years of procurement or commercial experience - from any industry.
  • Strong understanding of how procurement can add value beyond just cost-cutting.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow into a strategic role.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
