Junior Legal Compliance Officer - T&H - 70% to 90%

Location: Geneva Start date: ASAP Extent: Part time, 70% to 90% (flexible schedule) Type of work: Staffing

About the role

Reporting directly to the COO, you will support both Compliance and Operations activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in a challenging and stimulating environment.

Work tasks
  • Support the Compliance department with onboarding of new clients and monitoring of existing ones
  • Provide regular updates to the COO and Relationship Managers (RMs)
  • Maintain and reconcile the CRM system, monitor alerts related to cash transactions and asset concentrations, and liaise with RMs to obtain any additional information
  • Attend quarterly Compliance Group meetings in Geneva with the COO for risk reviews
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of the annual regulatory audit
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with intermediaries, banks, tax authorities, accountants, and auditors
We are looking for
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Law, Finance or Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • First professional experience in Compliance, Legal, Finance, or a related field (internships included) is an asset
  • Appreciation and understanding of Swiss compliance regulations and legislation
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to read and understand documents in both English and French
  • Fluency in English and French, written and spoken (C1 minimum)
  • Rigorous, detail-oriented, and accurate
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Proactive, motivated, and solution-oriented
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
