About the roleDue Diligence Design is seeking a motivated Junior Human Rights Analyst to support our work on human rights and labour rights risks in global supply chains. This role plays a key part in developing and maintaining the DD Global Risk Assessment Database, a flagship tool providing analysis on sectoral and country-level risks across multiple industries and geographies.
As a Junior Human Rights Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data and research inputs, while also supporting senior analysts in drafting country profiles, risk summaries, and technical briefs. This role requires precision, responsibility, and an ability to deliver reliable outputs under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities- Support the development and maintenance of our Global Risk Assessment Database through structured research, media monitoring, and accurate data entry
- Verify and fact-check sources, cross-check information, and ensure consistency and reliability across all research inputs
- Assist senior analysts in drafting and reviewing country profiles, risk summaries, and technical briefs, ensuring clarity and precision
- Identify and flag areas of concern in datasets or research outputs for further review
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, and documentation to support smooth delivery and coordination across the team
- Participate in team meetings and project discussions, collaborating with analysts while taking responsibility for independent tasks
- University degree in international relations, human rights, responsible business conduct, politics, journalism, law, development, or another relevant field
- Minimum of two years' work experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in human rights risks in global value chains and familiarity with international human rights and labour standards
- Strong research skills, with the ability to check and re-check information, critically evaluate content, and ensure accuracy in all outputs
- Proven ability to manage information systematically: recording, organising, and tracking data precisely and consistently
- Responsible and accountable in delivering tasks on time, flagging errors or uncertainties, and upholding high-quality standards
- Some relevant experience in research, analysis, or project support (internships, academic work, or junior roles in NGOs, intergovernmental organisations, or business will be considered)
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with datasets; experience with data entry or databases is desirable
- Familiarity with key data sources such as ILOSTAT, ILO conventions, and U.S. Department of Labor resources is an advantage
