Junior Electrical Engineer

Client:

Privately owned, award winning building services consultancy that has been delivering first class engineering solutions since 1987. With a team of 60 multi disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers, they've built a reputation for excellence and steady, sustainable growth.

They are looking to bring a Graduate (+1)/ Junior Electrical Engineer into the team to work on some of the UK's most prestigious high end residential and hotel developments.

Role:

• Carrying out survey work and site inspections
• Producing design calculations (hand calcs and software modelling)
• Preparing drawings and technical specifications
• Writing technical reports
• Supporting senior engineers with problem solving and design solutions
• Building strong client relationships alongside senior management
• Driving your own professional and personal development

Requirements:

• 1-3 years' experience within a building services consultancy
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (or HNC/HND with strong design experience)
• Confident client facing communication
• Experience with design software such as Microsoft Office, Amtech, Dialux/Relux
• Strong understanding of British Standards and Building Regulations
• Knowledge of HTMs is a bonus
• Professional membership (CIBSE, IMechE, IET)
