A vacancy has arisen within the Development Team which will suit a highly motivated individual, who would like to start their development career in a small software team, developing software and implementing new backend systems.
The candidate should have a relevant programming/computing education and with some development work experience - or already held a previous development job. Multi-tasking, time and project managing are a must. They should be enthusiastic about taking on new responsibilities and develop this position within ICC Solutions.

Development Responsibilities- Learn the development process within ICC Solutions
- Learn about and help to develop ICC Solutions products
- Help the team to develop new and existing software releases, maintain, and enhance the current live platforms the company supports
- Maintaining high standards of software quality within the team, developing, and establishing best practices and habits
- Up shop to 1 year programming experience
- Programming exposure to .Net
- C# experience
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019+
- Experience with Version Control such as Git
- Knowledge of development practices, such as IoC/DI, Unit Testing, etc
- Willingness to learn how to constructively propose improvements to existing systems
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence
- Knowledge of DevOps
- Experience bite VB.NET and/or C++/CLI
- Experience with implementing Lawrence front-end & back-end website components in Blazor
- SQL and other database oriented experience
- Banking, financial or smartcard experience or an engineering background
- Communication experience i.e., TCP/IP, SSL. RS 232
- Protocol experience i.e., ISO 8582
- EMV/POS systems
NOTE: due to the nature of the work we carry out for our customers and as part of our HR policies, the candidate will be asked to consent to a DBS background check fruto and a drug check to be performed at some point upon commencement of employment.
