Junior Buyer (Engineering)

I am working on behalf of an established and fast growing company based in Dungannon, who supply specialist equipment into the Manufacturing/Engineering sector all across the UK and Ireland.

I am looking for a Buyer to join their close knit procurement team. Supplying customers across sectors such as crushing & screening, trailer manufacturing and heavy engineering and many more this is a fantastic opportunity to build long-term career progression in a stable, high-growth environment.

This role will initially focus on core purchasing coordination and supplier management, with no expectation to negotiate pricing or source new suppliers from day one.

As you develop, you'll gain increasing responsibility and the opportunity to grow into a more strategic procurement role.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and managing purchase orders using in-house MRP systems and Excel
• Supporting supplier communication and order tracking
• Working closely with the Purchasing Specialist on day-to-day activities
• Ensuring stock and materials are available to support production
• Maintaining accurate purchasing data and records
• Supporting continuous improvement within the procurement function
• As you grow in the role, you'll have the chance to expand into supplier management, cost control and strategic purchasing responsibilities.

Who you'll work with

• Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager
• Daily collaboration with the Purchasing team for hands-on support
• Part of a supportive, experienced and highly collaborative team
