The Role
The Junior Buyer plays a vital role in supporting the daily procurement and logistics operations that power our venues. Reporting to the Procurement Lead, this role is responsible for placing and tracking orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring efficient stock flow across all Vida Plena locations. You'll work hand-in-hand with chefs, venue managers, and the logistics team to ensure our operations run smoothly-especially as we grow and open new locations.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Purchasing Support:
- Place and follow up on daily orders for food, beverages, and operational supplies
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm product availability and delivery timelines
- Support procurement planning and bulk orders for new venue openings
2.Inventory & Data Management:
- Monitor inventory levels across venues to prevent shortages and minimize overstock
- Conduct stock counts and help ensure accuracy in inventory records
- Maintain and update internal systems with pricing, product information, and invoices
3. Supplier & Venue Coordination
- Act as the bridge between suppliers and our internal teams to ensure smooth communication
- Help manage delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues
- Build positive, solution-oriented relationships with venue team
️ What We Expect From You
- Experience: 0-2 years in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or hospitality operations
- Detail-Oriented: Organized with a hands-on approach and a love for systems
- Communication: Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Digital Skills: Comfortable using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and digital tools
- Bonus: Interest in food systems, hospitality, or sustainability is a plus
