WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

For our Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are looking for a passionate we are looking for a highly motivated Junior Buyer to join our dynamic Purchasing Department. The role offers the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct supplier scouting and market research to identify potential partners and opportunities.
• Manage orders in accordance with established purchasing procedures.
• Draft and review contracts in conjunction with internal teams.
• Monitor and ensure progress of projects within area of responsibility.
• Work closely with the Legal Department to support the drafting of contracts for tenders and services.
• Prepare detailed analysis and presentations to support decision making.
• Provide regular reports to management on purchasing activities and project status.

Required Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Desired:

• Master's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience in a modern industrial environment, even at entry level.
• Basic knowledge of project management and/or purchasing functions.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Familiarity with integrated management systems (SAP).
