We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Broker Account Manager to join our high?performing Sales and Distribution team. Based in Birmingham and supporting the Midlands & South region, this role offers the chance to work closely with experienced Business Development Managers and Underwriters, developing the skills needed to excel in broker relationship management, strategic sales activity, and new business development. You'll play a key part in achieving ambitious growth targets by supporting broker engagement, enhancing sales conversion, and identifying cross?sell opportunities across multiple product lines. In this role, you will engage directly with brokers acknowledging submissions, clarifying key timelines, establishing target premiums, and identifying the unique elements of our proposition. You'll take a proactive approach to cross?selling, working with brokers and product teams to uncover new opportunities. You will also support the BDM team by following up on open pipeline opportunities, preparing meeting packs for strategic broker appointments, improving CRM accuracy, and providing sales analytics and reporting to highlight activity trends and wins. Additionally, you will help organise corporate hospitality and events, contributing to a strong brand presence across the region. A key part of your development will involve shadowing Business Development Managers on broker visits and large account opportunities. Through this, you will learn how to build and manage strategic broker relationships, plan effectively to achieve new business and renewal goals, and understand how to assess appetite, navigate broker priorities, and influence outcomes with compelling market propositions.
