role will see the successful candidate develop into a skilled BMS Engineer, starting with hands-on site-based work. You will support planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems while building specialist knowledge in BMS controls through structured internal and external training, as well as on-site mentoring and shadowing.

This company has been established for nearly 50 years and has built a strong reputation across Northern Ireland due to the high-quality service they provide. Their work primarily focuses on HVAC control systems across sectors including Healthcare, Retail, Commercial, and Industrial.

This role would suit a Junior or aspiring Engineer with an electrical or mechanical background looking to specialise in BMS systems within a well-established and supportive company.

The Role:

• Assist with the installation of BMS equipment and wiring
• Support configuring controllers, uploading programs, and performing functional testing
• Help diagnose faults and assist with maintenance and hardware replacement
• Liaise with clients and contractors to support project delivery and provide updates
• Produce reports on system performance, alarms, and incidents
• Travel to sites across Northern Ireland, with occasional lodging (no more than one week per year)

The Person:

• Basic electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge
• Experience in a site-based engineering or maintenance role
• Eagerness to learn and develop within BMS/building services
