Junior Associate Solicitor - Corporate M&A

We are looking for an ambitious and technically strong Junior Associate Solicitor (2+ Years PQE) to join our award-winning Corporate M&A team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions, ranging from mid-market deals to multi-billion pound international acquisitions. You will be an integral part of the deal team, taking increasing levels of responsibility for transaction management and client relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Management: Supporting Senior Associates and Partners on the full lifecycle of M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations.
Drafting & Negotiation: Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), Disclosure Letters, Shareholders' Agreements, and ancillary documents (e.g., board minutes, completion agendas).
Due Diligence: Leading the due diligence process; managing junior team members/trainees, overseeing virtual data rooms, and producing high-quality, commercially-focused Reports on Title or Due Diligence Reports.
Project Coordination: Liaising with specialist departments (Tax, Employment, IP, Pensions) and overseas counsel to ensure seamless delivery on multi-jurisdictional mandates.
Corporate Governance: Providing ongoing advice to corporate clients on Companies Act compliance, Listing Rules (where applicable), and general director duties.
Business Development: Participating in firm-wide networking events and contributing to the drafting of client alerts and legal updates on M&A trends.
