White Label Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established UK engineering manufacturer specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke engineered steel structures and industrial space-optimisation systems.
Their solutions support clients across sectors including automotive, logistics, manufacturing engineering, and heavy industry - delivering technically driven, project-based solutions tailored to customer specifications.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a technically capable Junior or Graduate Estimator to join their engineering team.
The RoleThis is a technically focused position where enquiries come in as drawings and specifications, and you will turn these into costed, buildable solutions.
You will:
- Interpret complex technical drawings and customer specifications
- Produce and modify engineering drawings where required
- Carry out detailed material take-offs
- Build accurate cost estimates using Excel
- Adapt bespoke customer requirements into engineered, manufacturable solutions
- Support with initial design concepts and structural layouts
- Work closely with Sales and Engineering to develop technically sound proposals
This is a a hands-on technical estimating position with real engineering involvement.
Full training will be provided!
What They're Looking For- Engineering qualifications (Mechanical / Structural / Manufacturing or anything similar)
- Strong technical drawing interpretation skills
- AutoCAD experience
- Excel capability
- Practical engineering understanding
- Detail-driven and commercially aware
- Ambitious and keen to grow within a project-led engineering environment
Product experience isn't essential - technical aptitude and attitude are.
Package- Salary up to £30,000
- 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off)
