We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team, responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction projects.
Responsibilities
Assemble and fabricate wooden structures according to specifications and design plans.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
Perform masonry tasks as required for specific projects.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and building regulations.
Conduct heavy lifting as necessary during the assembly and installation processes.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
Proven 5+ years experience as a Joiner in a similar role is essential.
Strong knowledge of various carpentry techniques and materials used in construction.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Experience with heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments is essential.
