Hackney Migrant Centre is currently recruiting to fill two positions: a Director and an Immigration Advisor.
DirectorWe are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to undertake overall responsibility for the running of HMC. The postholder will be responsible for strategic development and the effective operation of HMC's services, including finance, administration, and governance. The postholder will take overall responsibility for staffing and line-manage a team of staff.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £42,363 (NJC Scale 35, progressing to Scale 38 and including £3,473 London Weighting)

Immigration AdvisorWe are seeking an in-house Immigration Advisor to provide advice and legal representation for visitors who would otherwise struggle to access the legal advice they need. We have secured funding for three years from Trust for London to employ an Immigration Advisor.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: NJC Scale 25 to 27 plus LW. Starting at point 25, i.e., £33,146 pa
Qualification: OISC L3 or solicitor or IAAS Level 2
