At Barony Castle Hotel, we're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Member to support our restaurant and busy events operation. Nestled in 25 acres of beautiful grounds near Peebles, our historic castle is known for great hospitality-and we'd love you to be part of the team that brings it to life.

What You'll Be Doing

• Greeting guests with genuine warmth and setting the tone for a relaxed, enjoyable dining experience
• Providing attentive, personable service in our restaurant-taking orders, serving dishes, and ensuring guests feel looked after throughout their meal
• Supporting weddings, conferences, and special events by helping deliver smooth, professional food and drink service with a friendly touch
• Working closely with the team to maintain excellent presentation in all dining and event spaces
• Handling payments confidently and ensuring accuracy across all front of house tasks
• Assisting with setup, breakdown, and preparing spaces so every guest arrives to a spotless, organised setting
• Communicating with the kitchen and events teams to keep service flowing and guests happy

• Someone warm, approachable, and comfortable chatting with guests from all walks of life
• A positive team player who brings energy and calm to busy shifts
• Great communication skills and a natural eye for detail
• Ability to work under pressure while staying friendly and professional
• Previous hospitality experience is a bonus-but a genuine passion for great service matters most
• Flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including evenings and weekends
