Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm (45 hours per week)
We are currently recruiting for experienced Jet Vac Driver / Operators to join a growing drainage and industrial services operation across multiple sites in the Greater Belfast area and surrounding regions.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with HGV experience or drainage/industrial backgrounds looking to develop within a specialist, high-demand sector.
You will be responsible for operating Jet Vacuum Tankers and high-pressure water jetting equipment to carry out drainage and industrial cleaning works across customer sites.
The role supports both planned and reactive work, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
- Operating Jet Vac / Vacuum Tankers for:
- Drain and sewer clearance
- High-pressure water jetting
- Gully emptying and tank cleaning
- Wet well and pump station cleans
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Completing job sheets, service reports and digital documentation
- Ensuring safe set-up of work zones in line with RAMS and H&S procedures
- Transporting and disposing of waste materials at licensed facilities
- Supporting reactive and emergency call-out work
- Working alongside drainage CCTV teams and operational crews
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Strong awareness of health & safety and safe systems of work
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditionsPhysically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible to support overtime, call-outs and operational demands
- Experience in drainage, jetting or environmental services
- Jet Vac or tanker operating experience
- High-Pressure Water Jetting (WJA) certification
- CSCS / Streetworks / EUSR or similar
- Basic IT skills for digital reporting
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Safety-first mindset in high-risk environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving approach in reactive situations
- Willingness to learn and develop specialist skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing operational demands
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.50 per hour
