Job Description

We are seeking skilled JavaScript/SAP UI5 Developers to join the Digital Strategy Enablement team within project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Front End applications using JavaScript and SAP UI5 frameworks.

  • Implement UDeX tokens and UI5 components that comply with SAP's Design System and Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and Back End developers to ensure high-quality, accessible, and brand-compliant solutions.

  • Ensure consistent application performance and maintainability across platforms.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation according to established development standards.

  • Work within the Digital Strategy Enablement team to deliver solutions supporting global SAP web properties.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

  • 1-5 years of professional experience in JavaScript development.

  • Proven experience in SAP UI5/Fiori development.

  • Solid understanding of web standards, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG).

  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and UI/UX best practices.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and OData services integration.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced environment.

  • Language requirement: English (minimum B2 level).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience working in large enterprise or SAP-related environments.

  • Knowledge of TypeScript, Fiori Elements, or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

  • Understanding of Design Tokens, Brand Systems, and Accessibility Testing Tools.

  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Work Conditions

  • Hybrid work model: Primarily remote, with at least 1 day per week required in the office (within Portugal).

  • Candidates must reside in Portugal and have the legal right to work in the country (no cross-border contracting allowed).
