Java Backend Developer

Java Backend Developer vacancy for a Switzerland based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Designing and developing high-quality software solutions for financial products and services
• Developing and maintaining Back End services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Integrating various financial systems and third-party services to ensure smooth data flow
• Writing clean, maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across the stack
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Your experience/knowledge:

• Profound hands-on Java programming skills
• Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and JPA
• Familiarity with core Java utilities, particularly collections, JSON, JDBC, and Maven
• Basic understanding of Unix Operating system and bash Scripting
• Good code review skills and commitment to code quality
• Language skills: Very good English communication skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Team player with the ability to work in an agile environment
