Conexus DX is seeking an experienced Java Architect to join a high-impact digital transformation programme in Lisbon. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the architecture of scalable, cloud-native applications for a forward-thinking organisation. 

Tech Environment:

• Java (Spring, Spring Boot)
• RESTful APIs
• Terraform
• MongoDB
• MySQL

Role Overview:
As a Java Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of robust Back End systems, ensuring architectural integrity and scalability. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to define best practices and drive technical excellence across the stack. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain architectural standards for Java-based applications.
• Lead the design of microservices and API integrations using Spring Boot.
• Oversee infrastructure-as-code deployments with Terraform.
• Optimise data architecture across MongoDB and MySQL environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure alignment with business goals.

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive experience in Java architecture and Back End development.
• Deep understanding of Spring frameworks and REST API design.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure and Terraform.
• Proficient in both relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
