# IT Systems Engineer (Cloud) Job Introduction About the Role What You'll Do As part of our dynamic team, you'll: Design & Deploy: Build secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and services. Manage & Administer: Oversee Azure resources across compute, storage, networking, identity, and security. Automate: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates to streamline provisioning. Monitor & Optimize: Ensure performance, availability, and compliance with industry standards. Secure: Implement best practices for security, patching, and vulnerability management. Migrate: Support workload transitions from on-premises to Azure. Protect: Maintain robust disaster recovery and backup strategies. Innovate: Stay ahead of Azure advancements and drive continuous improvement. What We're Looking For You'll bring: Experience: 3+ years in cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and ITIL v4 Foundation. Technical Skills: + Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, AD, Key Vault, Security Center, Policy). + Container platforms (AKS, RedHat OpenShift). + Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash). + Networking fundamentals and cloud security principles. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset. Desirable Extras: Azure SQL, MongoDB, Azure Sentinel. Linux administration and hybrid workloads. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions). What You Can Do Deliver exceptional customer service across the business. Work independently and as part of a team.
