Job Description
IT Systems Analyst - Warwick (Hybrid, 1 Day Office-Based)

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + Benefits
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00-16:30, Fri 8:00-13:00

An established manufacturing business with a strong engineering heritage is looking for an IT Systems Analyst to join its growing internal IT team. You'll be supporting business-critical systems, helping deliver a major ERP migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365, and developing your skills across SQL, reporting, and process analysis - with a clear path to progress into a Business Analyst role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain IT systems, infrastructure, and ERP applications.

  • Assist in the migration from Avante to Microsoft Dynamics 365, including data cleansing, validation, and testing.

  • Write and optimise SQL queries and reports to support data analytics.

  • Collaborate with departments and suppliers to resolve system issues.

  • Document procedures, create user guides, and support training.

  • Monitor alerts, perform system audits, and ensure compliance with IT processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement across IT and business systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in IT application, ERP, or service desk support.

  • Confident with SQL (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, basic troubleshooting).

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and business processes such as inventory, BOM, and work orders.

  • Exposure to data migration or integration tasks (CSV/ODBC, ETL).

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and ideally Power BI, Power Automate, or Scripting (PowerShell).

  • Understanding of data protection, access control, and change management.

  • Awareness of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O/CE) is desirable.
