A growing technology business based in Hereford is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team, providing hands on support across a range of systems, users and technologies.

This is a fully on site role where you'll be a key part of the internal IT function, supporting users, maintaining systems and helping to keep day to day operations running smoothly.

The role:

You'll be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support, acting as a key point of contact for IT queries and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Providing helpdesk support and managing incoming IT tickets
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and user issues
• Supporting Microsoft 365 environments (including email and user management)
• Working with Active Directory / Azure AD
• Assisting with system configuration, installation and testing
• Monitoring systems and supporting network operations
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket updates
• Supporting users with varying levels of technical ability
• Assisting with IT equipment, asset tracking and general administration
• Collaborating with internal teams and supporting wider business needs

You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in new technologies, system improvements and ongoing projects.

About you:

• Previous experience in an IT support / service desk role
• Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop and user environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
• Familiarity with Active Directory (or Azure AD)
• Good communication skills and a user focused approach
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast paced environment

Any experience with networking tools, security systems or monitoring platforms would be beneficial, but not essential.
