Reports to: IT & Facilities Manager
We're looking for an enthusiastic IT Support candidate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for early-career IT professionals - whether you've completed a degree, apprenticeship, or other IT qualifications - to gain hands-on experience in IT support, device management, and cyber security.
You'll play a key role in helping colleagues stay productive, connected, and secure while contributing to the ongoing development of our IT and security infrastructure.
What You'll DoIT Support
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and account issues.
- Set up and configure workstations, devices, and accounts for new starters.
- Assist with offboarding processes, including account deactivation and device collection.
- Work with IT Managed Service Providers to coordinate support activities.
- Deploy, configure, and manage devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Assist with user/group management, conditional access, and security policies in Microsoft Entra (Azure AD).
- Monitor device compliance and remediate non-compliant devices.
Cyber Security
- Support the implementation and monitoring of security controls and policies.
- Assist with patching, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
- Participate in security awareness initiatives and incident response processes.
- Configure and maintain VoIP phones and user setups.
- Monitor and manage Wi-Fi network performance and coverage.
- Update & maintain the company phone directory
- Deploy wireless access points and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Access Control & Facilities Support
- Administer physical access control systems, including badge readers and visitor management.
- Assist with basic administrative and coordination tasks within the facilities department.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of devices, incidents, and security activities.
- Update IT documentation and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Skills & Experience
- Qualification in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field (degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure AD/Entra.
- Awareness of cyber security principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable Certifications (Optional)
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
