IT Security Architect - Business Applications

Application Security Architect
Locations: Zurich, Vienna or Stockholm

We're working with a global life sciences company that is expanding its security function. They're looking for an Application Security Architect to strengthen their enterprise applications landscape. The role can be based in Zurich, Vienna, or Stockholm, depending on your preference.

The role

• Drive security and risk management across a broad application portfolio

• Guide internal teams in designing and delivering secure business solutions

• Shape authorisation concepts in line with IAM initiatives, ensuring consistency across platforms such as SAP and SaaS tools

• Define security standards for integrations, APIs and authentication

• Classify applications by criticality and align appropriate security controls

• Collaborate with security, architecture, infrastructure and application teams on cloud and SaaS security models

What you'll bring

• Degree in IT, Information Security or related discipline

• 5+ years' experience in enterprise application security, ideally with SAP

• At least 2 years in a security architecture role

• Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF or SABSA, plus experience with IAM and role concepts

• Solid understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, hybrid/private)

• Strong communication skills in English; German would be an advantage

• Proactive, structured approach to problem solving
