Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to lead digital laboratory initiatives within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Governance
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans including milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and timelines.
- Manage project risks, issues, and change control processes aligned with program governance.
- Ensure project activities are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
Requirements & Solution Coordination
- Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Coordinate solution design activities with architects, technical leads, and vendors.
- Ensure configuration and technical documentation is created and maintained.
Execution, Testing & Validation
- Coordinate build and configuration activities with internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Plan and oversee unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
- Support system validation in line with regulatory and client standards.
Change Management & Training
- Manage project-specific change requests and approvals.
- Support training plans and rollout for SMEs and end users.
- Communicate project timelines, impacts, and updates to stakeholders.
Data & Environment Readiness
- Coordinate data mapping, migration, and validation activities for testing and go-live.
- Ensure readiness of development, test, and production environments.
Go-Live & Post Implementation Support
- Prepare detailed cutover and go-live plans.
- Coordinate go-live activities and support go/no-go decision processes.
- Manage post-go-live hypercare to ensure system stability and issue resolution.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and program leadership.
- Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and governance reports.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Proven experience delivering IT projects in laboratory or quality environments
- Experience managing end-to-end digital lab or laboratory system projects
- Ability to collaborate with Manufacturing, QC, and QA teams
- Knowledge of lab workflows, data integrity, and regulated environments
- Experience coordinating integrations between lab systems, reporting platforms, and ERP systems
- Strong experience managing both technical and business stakeholders
Experience working with regulatory frameworks such as
- GAMP 5
- 21 CFR Part 11
is highly preferred.
