IT Operator T24

We are looking for an IT Operator T24 to join our client on a contract opportunity in Luxembourg. In this role, you will be part of the IT Core Operations team, ensuring the smooth and reliable running of critical processes, jobs and interfaces across applications and database.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operation of processes and interfaces across production and test environments
• Monitor, start, stop and manage jobs, queues and processes
• Execute and supervise End-of-Day/Close-of-Business activities
• Handle deployments of artefacts in production and test environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs and interfaces
• Automate operational tasks wherever possible to improve efficiency
• Resolve and close incidents/service requests from the Global IT Service Desk in line with procedures and agreed SLAs
• Perform first-line investigation and diagnosis of incidents
• Escalate unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales
• Log all relevant details in the service desk/ticketing system according to procedures
• Complete daily and periodic operational checklists
• Produce IT reports and KPIs for IT Management

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Shell Scripting
• Solid experience with TEMENOS Transact (T24)
• Experience with Automic (UC4) Scheduling
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a production environment
• Very good written and spoken English
