IT Manager
Location: Remote (Optional access to shared working office space in London)
Salary: £60,000 £65,000 (FTE)
Contract: Full Time (Part time hours will be considered)
Contract Length: Initial 2-year fixed term with potential for extension

ICVCM is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead its IT function. This standalone role is pivotal in shaping and delivering the organisation s IT strategy, managing outsourced IT services, and ensuring robust information security across all systems and processes.
The successful candidate will act as ICVCM s IT subject matter expert, overseeing infrastructure, policies, and projects that support the organisation s strategic and operational goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fully remote environment and enjoys working independently within a global not-for-profit organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ICVCM s IT strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Manage outsourced IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) and ensure contractual KPIs are met.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 tenancy, IT infrastructure, and security compliance (mainly via MSP).
- Lead on IT and information security policies, processes, and training.
- Plan and deliver IT projects to agreed time, cost, and quality standards.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT queries and coordinate with the MSP for resolution.
- Manage software procurement, licensing, and IT budgeting.
About You
Essential:
- 5+ years experience as an IT Manager in an SME environment, ideally standalone and remote.
- Strong contract management experience, including managing IT MSPs.
- In-depth knowledge of UK information security legislation and best practice.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and user management.
- Proven ability to manage IT projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Flexible to work +/- 2 hours of GMT to ensure crossover with team members.
- ICVCM is a fully remote organisation, as such experience with Microsoft cloud-based environments (inc. Admin Centre and the M365 suite) is essential.
Desirable:
- Experience in a global organisation.
- Working within a Not-for-Profit organisation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, Microsoft MD102).
- Experience securing certifications such as Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001.

- Salary: £60,000 £65,000 (FTE)
