Job Description

IT IS Project Manacer CMMC/NIST/DFARS vacancy for our Zurich based client

Your tasks:

  • Assume project management responsibility for CMMC, DFARS and NIST 800.171 implementation within the IT and IS/cybersecurity domain - review and update IT & IS policies, process/SOPs and execute relevant change management activities that arose from these requirements
  • Develop overarching strategy for IT and IS and implement country-wide technical solutions to support the compliance, ie enclaves.
  • Lead development of GRC policies and their implementation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, cybersecurity, legal, trade compliance, and procurement teams.
  • Work closely with an ERP team who is also creating business transformation to assure alignment, efficiency and no duplication of work.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and governance reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain a comprehensive risk register.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Work closely with the Program Lead to align project objectives with the overall CMMC program goals.

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Deep knowledge of CMMC/NIST/DFARS requirements and previous implementation of enclaves
  • Broad understanding of IT and IS (Information security): TLC, security, operations, infrastructure, applications, network, cloud
  • Understanding of policies, processes and documentation for IT and IS
  • Project Management Expertise: 10+ years of experience managing IT Compliance projects, with a preference for candidates with cybersecurity experience.
  • Experience with audits
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Proven experience in process improvement and policy implementation.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances, develop contingency plans, and make informed decisions
  • Cross-Cultural Competence: Experience working in multicultural and international environments.
  • Teamwork: Ability to lead and motivate teams, even those outside of their direct reporting structure.
  • Language skills: English

Your soft skills:

  • Experience in the aerospace/engineering organisation or other regulated industry
  • Experience with working on a regulatory project where processes and policies had to be changed based on the new regulation
  • Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
  • A high degree of self-organisation and time management
  • Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
