IT Infrastructure Engineer up to £36,000 per annum, plus car allowance
Uxbridge as Head office, travel to other UK sites required.

Are you passionate about improving systems and processes with experience in working with Servers, Storage & networks?

This role reports into the Infrastructure Manager and is suitable for a highly energetic, technically minded individual. The right candidate will apply high levels of attention to detail and want to further develop existing strong skills in IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting all production platforms to ensure availability, integrity, and confidentiality of core infrastructure elements such as servers, storage, communications, and recovery management.
- Managing secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. Installing, maintaining, upgrading, and improving the operating environment.
- Managing networks and firewalls, troubleshooting advanced network issues.
- Handling new site installations, upgrades, and remote site infrastructure maintenance.
- Providing high-level 3rd Line Infrastructure support, proactively planning upgrades and system maintenance within the IT roadmap.
- Owning user problems and following up on their resolution, including communicating progress timely.

If you have a methodical approach to problem analysis & problem solving, high attention to detail, keen eye for record keeping and documentation, and a hunger to improve systems and processes, then we would love to hear from you.
Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, with solid experience in Microsoft, networking, IT hardware, troubleshooting, and diagnostics, is required.
The role requires working well with cross-functional teams to deliver objectives and set the pace for results to management and senior management.

We offer a salary of £36,000, plus a £4,000 annual car allowance, 25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays, pension contributions, full training and development, and an employee discount scheme.
Travel to other APCOA offices may be required. Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, but occasional work outside these times, including weekends and holidays, may be necessary.
