IT Business Systems Analyst

WA Consultants is currently recruiting for an IT Business Systems Analyst for an established client based in Devon.

Our client is looking for a candidate to play a key role in shaping and supporting systems and to make a real impact across the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and support essential line of business systems that power our operations and enable us to deliver cutting edge logistics solutions.
• Lead the planning, implementation, and testing of system updates, feature releases, and configuration changes - whether part of strategic projects or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Roll out our standard system solutions and processes to new sites and customers, ensuring consistency and scalability across the business.
• Migrate legacy systems and outdated processes to our group standard platforms, unlocking efficiency and future readiness.
• Continuously refine system configurations and processes to ensure they're fully aligned with business needs and delivering maximum value.
• Build strong relationships with external system vendors to support solution delivery and resolve escalated issues swiftly.
• Work closely with operational teams to tailor solutions that make work easier, more efficient, and more rewarding for our people.
• Collaborate with other Technology teams to maintain secure, monitored, and well supported systems across the organisation.
• Define testing requirements, write scripts, and coordinate testing to ensure smooth and successful system changes and implementations.
• Maintain clear and up to date documentation, including process flows, training materials, and support guides.
• Contribute to the road map for system enhancements, helping to steer the evolution of our technology landscape.
• Provide hands on support during system changes and implementations, ensuring a smooth transition to business as usual operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 year's experience of configuring IT applications - ideally logistics / ERP / TMS / WMS / Finance or HR systems - but other equivalent systems experience will be considered.
• Confident in supporting users of varying technical ability.
• High level of accuracy in builds and documentation.
• Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle insured for business use, and willingness to travel.
